Now that September is half-over, I finally sat down and looked at my list of most-anticipated YA books coming fall 2022. I’m really excited about so many of these titles. There are a few romcoms, and I’m loving that. There are also a LOT of spooky or spooky-ish books on this list, which is unusual for me. I’m not usually a big scary books girl. It doesn’t take much to freak me out– Disney movies used to give me nightmares as a child. Ha. At any rate, I’ve included books that are coming out from September 1 to November 30, so a few are books I’ve managed to … Continue reading →
Here are My Most-Anticipated YA Books Coming Summer 2022
I love reading during the summer. There’s something about the longer days that makes me feel like I can afford to squeeze in extra reading time. This year, there are so many titles I’m excited about reading. I have no idea if I’ll be able to get to them all, but I’m sure gonna do my best! I expect I’ll get to most of these most-anticipated YA books coming summer 2022.
As always, I’ll try to come back to this post as I put up reviews so that if you find it later you’ll be able to see how I liked the books I read. For now, … Continue reading →
I imagined posting this list the first or second week of January, but here we are on February first, and I’m finally getting it posted. But here it is! These are some of the books I’m most excited about reading this winter.
At the end of the year last year, someone asked if there are just not any good YA books coming out anymore, which sparked some debate on Book Twitter. While I think everyone is allowed their opinion on the books they love (or don’t), I gotta say, I’m still seeing some incredible books hitting shelves these days in the YA market. If you missed it, I … Continue reading →
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is a fantastic one: the best blogs to follow. I tend to follow several different kinds of blogs. I like finding other blogs that review clean books or which list content information. I think in part it makes me feel validated, and it’s always interesting to see the ways other sites break down the content information. I also like to follow what I’ll call a specialty blog, one that steers readers toward specific types of books– books about characters with disabilities, books by minority authors, etc. Then there are the good old trusty review sites where I find myself reading the reviews of books … Continue reading →
The last two weeks of 2015 flew past me without a moment for blogging, and I’m only now beginning to catch up on the massive list of things I want to do around here. There are books to read, author interviews to post, exciting blog tours coming up, and of course, more books than I could possibly hope to read!
Coming Soon: Books I’ve Read to Review
To start, here are the books I have read but haven’t posted reviews for yet:
I’m super excited about posting my review of Eleanor & Park. Rainbow Rowell is an author I’ve been meaning to read for a while. I had started Fangirl last summer, but just didn’t get into it. In E&P, she … Continue reading →
