What if you could write your dreams into reality with the stroke of a pen?

Welcome to my ongoing list for the Beat the Backlist 2023 Reading Challenge, hosted by Austine Decker. Reading challenges are kind of a new thing for me this year. I joined a couple and set some concrete goals for myself for the year. Hopefully, it will help inspire me and keep me on track to read some of the books I really want to that tend to get pushed to the side in favor of brand-new releases.
I’ll list the books I’ve read and a teeny bit about them here. You’ll also … Continue reading →
Check back as I update this list often! Just about every week, I add new books I’ve accepted for review or titles I can’t resist, as well as a few backlist titles squeezed in where I can.
This list includes some backlist titles that I’ve read recently and plan to post reviews for this year.

How are there so many great books coming out in the next few months? It gets harder and harder to limit my calendar to the books I can actually read, because it seems like there are so many great ones out there. I read three to five middle grade titles in an average month, but I wish I could read more. These books will all be published from January to March 2023. My list is mainly contemporary, historical, and fantasy novels. Here are the middle grade books coming winter 2023 that I’m most looking forward to reading.
