My blogging buddy is back today. 🥰 He's a definite lap cat, and usually settles down to snuggle while I work. Today, he's extra needy, and every time I reach for the mouse, he bumps my hand to ask for cheek scratches. I can't resist this cuteness.
I've been reading more nonfiction lately, and more spiritual books, too. Apparently I'm a fan of Catholic mysticism? Those books seem to be a pretty sure win with me.
Once in a while you read the right book at exactly the right moment. It's been a while since I read Double the Danger and Zero Zucchini, but I needed it to be just what it was: hilarious and full of heart. Sometimes a book is all the comfort you need.
What are you looking forward to reading this month?
Have you read something recently that you can't stop thinking about?
I've only met a few authors in person (probably a good thing because I am incredibly awkward and have, more than once, said entirely the wrong thing 😳 and possibly offended some of my favorite authors forever, 😭 ack!), but Beth Revis is one of the ones I've met, and she is amazing.
