Monthly Wrap-Up: November 2017

November 2017This year it has been easy to find things to be thankful for. Books, of course, and great author friends always make my list. Family and friends. Delicious snacks. You get the idea.

As we get into the holiday season, we’re not only preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus as our Christmas celebration, but also the birth of our own new family addition. This month family and friends gathered to celebrate with us and help us get ready for our new little bundle. I forgot how much stuff babies need, y’all. It’s a LOT of stuff. My husband teases me because whenever we get a new thing (not just now, but any new thing, any time) my first question … Continue reading

Monthly Wrap-Up: September 2017

September 2017 Monthly Wrap-UpSeptember 2017 was another wild month packed with some of my favorite books this year. If you missed my review of Elsie Mae Has Something to Say by Nancy Cavanaugh, just stop and go check that one out. I reviewed nine books this month, and Gabrielle shared her review of the sequel to Wolf by Wolf. If you followed along, let me know which was your favorite. So I came up with a list … Continue reading

February 2017I feel like I always start these posts with some surprised exclamation like, OMG, how is it MARCH ALREADY?!

But we’ll move past that and get to the good stuff! First… book mail. I got so many books this month from participation in Irish Banana Blog Tours, a Disney blog tour, Children’s Literature, and directly from Bloomsbury. It was like Christmas all over again! (And if you know my family, you know we just finished celebrating Christmas like four weeks ago, so it’s like the magic continues…)

So here’s my book stash for February 2017:

January 2017 Monthly Wrap-Up

January 2017 Monthly Wrap-Up

It’s January 2017

Wow. So we made it to 2017! Yay. I’m excited about sharing so many great books this year. You can see some of them already posted on my 2017 Reading List. You may also notice that I have a new feature in my sidebar. You’ll find buttons that take you to a list of my past reviews based on the book’s target age or genre of the books. I’m also working on creating a master list of reviews so you can skim the whole list pretty easily. I hope to have that posted by the end of February.
