Winter 2025 Picture Books On My Radar

I don’t spend a lot of time talking about picture books, but there have been some really cute ones coming out lately. Also, my littlest is nearing the age when she’ll be leaving those behind, so I think I’m feeling a bit nostalgic about the days when it was predominantly what we read together.

20 Fabulous Middle Grade Books Coming Fall 2023

Usually, my review calendar is about sixty to seventy percent young adult and only thirty to forty percent middle grade, but this season, I’m split pretty close to fifty-fifty for what’s on my reading list. It’s hard to keep up with all the great books coming this season, but I’m going to do my best to try! Here are my 20 most-anticipated middle grade books coming fall 2023.

12 Amazing Books I Read in Summer 2021

Summer is one of my favorite times to read. The more relaxed schedule makes me feel like I’m not so pressed for time, and I usually manage to fit in a few backlist titles I’ve been excited about reading.

This year was better and worse for me reading-wise. I have no shortage of books thanks to my early-pandemic massive orders to indie bookstores near me, as if somehow I alone could save their businesses. (Hopefully I did help, though!)
